Sterling Silver Banana Leaf Artisan Earrings Leaves Hoja de Platano
Organic, silver, hand pierced Sterling banana leaves! Beautifully pierced and hammered by me! Each leaf hangs from long handmade sterling silver earwires. Very light weight dangles and unique.
Each earring measures approximately 2 inches long from top of the earwire to the bottom of the leaf.
Banana trees adorned our mountains all along the island. Initially brought by Spanish merchants and African workers during the 16th century. Bananas and plantains are a delicious main ingredient in our cuisine!!

Care Instructions
Sterling may tarnish with salty air, chlorine, sulfur, humidity, perspiration, cosmetics, household cleaners and other chemicals. Always clean your sterling silver pieces with soapy water after use and towel dry before storing. Store your clean and dry jewelry in the giftbox or pouch included with your purchase. After it is dry you can use a polishing cloth to maintain its luster. You can always contact me for a cleaning at my studio.
